Really if the State Department wanted to deal with this they could arrest the persons holding her captive as terrorists under the Patriot Act and quick try them with a military tribunal.
Swap them say, a suspended sentence in exchange for the names of the persons who either raped her or were responsible for the cover up.
Anyone confessing gets 5-10 years hard labor. Anyone found guilty after a fair hearing (we want the right people not the wrong ones) gets a bullet.
Since this is apparently a lawless zone strict adherence to US law is not necessary, at least the mercenary thugs involved in this don’t think so. And I figure since they choose to think the law doesn’t apply to them than I suggest that we make it not apply to them. Give them what they want.
After that we can kick out the rest of the mercenaries and use R.I.C.O. on Haliburton/K.B.R as needed.
Of course this will never happen. Bush and the Republicans would block it .
As for the Democrats, well they lack the backbone to stand up to an angry 8 year old much less this Administration.
