I direct you folks to this hopeful article on the fight against the atrocity that is Supermax .

We as Americans need to come together to end this kind of practice, this cruel and unusual crime against humanity, this degredation of the human spirit.

Now I understand there are times when solitary confinement must be used for safety reasons, to save lives . Used for a short time its just.Its within the purview of law enforcement.

But the way we use it, for years on end , to crush dissent, to isolate., and to maim the souls of men and women must be stopped.

We are not scared little monsters but the bravest of men, all servants of our great Constitution and we do not treat our foes in this fashion.
