A Third Reason My Goverment Scares Me More Than Any Terrorists
Treating ordinary Marijuana Dealing as Terrorism.
Folks the Patriot Act isn’t about patriotism at all. Its about turning the US into a prison, more or less. Its also designed to erode or destroy every Constitutional and traditional protection (such as a wifes traditional legal right not to incriminate her husband) we have. In our fanatical “inquisition” style campaign against marijuana we will do anything to “make the case” and anything to win the battle we already lost
This is because of the delusion that somehow todays 18 year olds smoking a little grass will destroy or nation or maybe that somehow our government owns our “productivity” whatever the hell that is . They act as if we are all doomed because someone would rather get mellow on his or her own time than lust after the latest add hyped piece of Chi-Com made garbage.
If I was wrong this false premise and somehow the premise were true and it was a national security issue I’d still rather have a nation wall to wall with pot heads than a police state, thanks very much. No pot head I’ve every met wanted to hurt me.
Folsk if we don’t get rid of these idiots legally while we can and make sure for Gods sake not a single Authoritarian , left or right holds office anywhere in the US in less than 20 years America will be no more.
Patriot Act 4 or maybe 5 will likely include something like this
“If you fail to cooperate 100% police under any and all circumstances including turning your family in on orders or letting them perform a warrentless search or anything else it will be an offense meriting no habeas corpus and a mandatory life sentence.”
As for counting on the courts, well its not that hard to appoint traitors and fools. The current divided courts have helped but by then I am sure the treason weaned lick spittles that will infect the judiciary branch will A-OK it, no problem.”
And don’t bother with the “use my guns to protect me” Not gonna help. They won’t let you talk to anyone about doing anything by then anyway. That will be a “terror conspiracy”
Besides if they think you and your buddies are a threat they can’t pick off they’ll either do as our Israeli allies do and burn/bulldoze your house maybe with you in it or just hit you at 3am after a hard day at work and gut shoot your pregnant wife and you. That way they brand you a terrorist, drug dealer or pedophile. Easy peasey.
Folks we must, we must stop this while we still can. I want to stop being afraid of my government and I want to stop feeling like a wandered into some hallucination spawned by the Black Helicopter crowd. I want an America where we have only have the few people that must be in jail, in jail and where we have broad based liberty to do what ever the hell we want so long as we don’t hurt others. You know the America the Founding Father intended for us and gave us the Constitution to protect.

A well written article. Chi coms? Israeli bulldozers? Our government supports that tyrany. As we supported the bolsheviks that ruined Russia. As for votjng accordingly for non authortarian candidates? If voting for non authortarian candidates were possible? They’d outlaw voting.

As for non authoritarian candidates well we can vote for them , for all the good it does. They do exist after a fashion, in the Libertarian party and in folks like Ron Paul and Mike Gravel.
Otherwise I quite agree with you.
The things is someone who isn’t interested in messing with other people is more likely to be repelled by the notion of going into public office rather than attracted to it.
It the Rule of Cincinatus problem I am afraid.Other than enough of us taking it on the chin and working our way into the system without being co-opted I don’t just know a good way to fix it.
The Founding Fathers gave us the Constitution to help but as you know thats been honored more in the breach than in the observance.
