In essence, a woman tries to help a drunk kid (whose drinking she had nothing to do with as far as we know) , takes him to her house to get better instead of a hospital (probably because she fears being arrested) he dies, she charged with a serious felony.
Unless there are circumstances I don’t know about all this does is discourage people from helping out when asks. You don’t want a situation where people fear helping others and the standard response is “I know what happened to Candice Collard sorry go dial 9-11″ this damages civic cooperation and costs lives.
lets hope the jury sees it this way as well.
