Congrats to the new President. Getting into office is no easy road but being the first African American President and the 1st Gen X President are awesome accomplishments.

Joe Biden.
He is an O.K. choice, a little authoritarian and a bit of an “insider” but otherwise solid and capable. He is sort of the Ford Taurus of candidates, Safe, Reliable and Not That Exciting.
Every time I think about the Republican coalition I am reminded of that old Sesame Street jingle,
“One of these things is not like the other.”
